Betsy Hosick recently shared two versions of the Hello Dolly with the entire staff. The first version is her mom’s traditional Hello Dolly recipe that she remembers from her childhood. The second is a modified version that she came up with to satisfy the chocolate tooth of hubby Bryan Hosick. With the holidays ahead, this seemed like the perfect time to share the recipes.

Mom’s Recipe Hello Dolly’s

1 Stick Butter
1 Cup Crushed Graham Cracker Crumbs
1 Cup Coconut
1 Cup Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips
1 Cup Chopped Pecans
1 Can Sweetened Condensed Milk

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.  In a corning ware (nothing else works) type 9X9 dish, melt butter.  Sprinkle crushed graham cracker crumbs (you have to use regular grahams and crush them yourself or it doesn’t taste right) on top.  Sprinkle a layer of coconut, then chocolate chips and last layer is pecans.  Pour condensed milk over the top.  Stay away from the edges so it doesn’t boil and look yucky.  Bake exactly 30 minutes.   Let cool and enjoy the yummy.  They freeze beautifully.
